Jimmy
Since he got his license, Jimmy jumped on big bikes. He started with Harley Davidson, tempted by the dream of freedom only to realise that true freedom is off the beaten track. So he swapped to BMW 850 GS Adventure and took it into English mud. The bike and the rider got an awful lot of pounding on local lanes, trips and long-distance trials. Then he got serious and got himself KTM 890 Adventure R.
You can usually find him leading on local lanes in Kent and Surrey, where he leads rides with Adventure Bros. If not there, then he is training in Wales, preparing for a trial or planning the next adventure.
Naz
Naz wanted to ride bikes for a long time, but the whole family talked her out of it as dangerous. It may have something to do with the fact that she worked on personal injury claims as a lawyer and saw firsthand what happens to many bikers. But since she met Jimmy, she realised that riding can be different and fully embraced off-road adventure.
Her first bike was the mighty Sinnis Terrain, the most underrated 125cc bike ever, but even before she got her license, a bumble bee BMW 800 GS was waiting for her. Before long, she realised it wasn't enough and swapped to KTM 890 Adventure R. The best way to get on her wrong side is to suggest a smaller bike.
Adventure Bros
Adventure Bros is a community of big bike offroad riders in South East England. The group is actively promoting riding big adventure bikes off-road.
Since we started this group in 2019, we have grown to 150 active members and over 600 followers. We run regular training days and ride every weekend. Naz and Jimmy have been planning and leading rides in the group since the beginning, from one-day adventures on local off-road lanes to multi-day trips.
