Terms & Conditions
Before booking your trip, we encourage you to read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they constitute a contract agreement between Freedom Moto Adventures Ltd. and you from the time of booking.
By submitting a booking, you confirm that you accept these terms.
Payment
You can pay for the trip using one of two standard methods:
- Credit card payment in full. This payment is handled by Stripe.
- "Buy now, pay later" by Klarna. This payment is handled by Klarna. Stripe acts as the intermediary.
Additionally, we can offer one of the following payment options at our sole discretion and individual consideration. These options are available only for bookings three or more months before the trip date:
- Deposit and full payment later. The minimum deposit is £500 or 50% of the trip cost, whichever is smaller. The remaining balance is due no more than 30 days before the trip.
- Deposit and Direct Debit. The minimum deposit is £500 or 50% of the trip cost, whichever is smaller. The remaining amount will be split into an agreed number of payments.
Failure to arrange the required payment in both cases may forfeit your booking.
Additional fees
There may be occasions when additional fees incur, especially regarding bike shipping. These fees cover things such as warehouse storage, tax duties etc. The price doesn't cover those fees.
Cancellation by us
We may be forced to cancel the trip in unforeseen circumstances such as a pandemic, volcano, war etc. We will inform you as soon as possible if there is a risk of cancellation.
If we have to cancel the trip, then
- we will offer you another date for the same trip for the same price, or
- any payments will be refunded in full within 30 days of the cancellation.
In the event of cancellation, we are not liable for other costs you may have incurred, such as flight tickets, hotels etc.
Cancellation by you
We understand that our trips are often booked well in advance and that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel the trip, you must inform us as soon as possible. The refund amount depends on the following:
- If you cancel more than 60 days before the trip, we will issue a full refund, less £50 of the administrative costs.
- If you cancel between 60 and 30 days before the trip, we will refund 50% of your payment.
- We will not give any refund if you cancel less than 30 days before the trip.
In the event of cancellation, we are not liable for other costs you may have incurred, such as flight tickets, hotels etc.
Passport and visas
You must have a valid passport according to the travel rules of the country you will be travelling to.
You must ensure you can enter the country you will be visiting. Please check if you need a visa or any other permits.
Driving license
You must have a valid driver's license category A.
Liability
You are solely liable in any case for any personal injuries and damage to property caused by your intentional misconduct or negligence. You shall indemnify and hold Freedom Moto Adventures harmless against any and all third-party claims asserted directly on Freedom Moto Adventures in connection with such injuries and/or damage.
Damage caused by your intentional misconduct or negligence means in particular (but not limited to) damage attributable to driving mistakes, lack of driving ability and/or disorderly driving behaviour (for instance, driving on the back wheel, racing start or failing to comply with safety spaces between vehicles).
You are solely liable for any fines and penalties you may include during the trip, in particular (but not limited to) speeding or parking fines.
Motorcycle Insurance
You must have valid insurance for the whole trip duration and, if included, when your motorcycle will be in transit. Your insurance must be valid in the country you will be travelling to.
Travel Insurance
You must have health and accident insurance covering transportation back to the home country. Insurance documents must be presented upon demand.
Cancellation cover
We recommend that all our customers check what their home insurance covers. Some insurances have a cancellation cover covering the entire or part of it.
Itinerary changes
We reserve the right to change our itinerary before or during the trip. Changes may be caused in particular (but not limited to) by weather, natural disasters, and accommodation availability. We also reserve the right to carry out changes to the terms and conditions regarding the trip.
