Ride through glacier mountains of southern Iceland on this epic 7-day off-road motorcycle adventure. Across black sands and lava fields of Fjallabak and Laki, Iceland South takes you on a 7-day adventure across some of the most remote and breathtaking terrain on the planet.
Conquer Iceland’s legendary F-roads (mountain roads, from Fjalla - mountain), a mix of gravel, rocks, sand, and river crossings-as you navigate through lava fields, mountain passes, and untamed wilderness rarely seen by adventureists. This is more than a motorcycle trip; it’s an expedition through fire and ice.
Along the way, experience thundering waterfalls, steaming geothermal vents, ancient glaciers, and otherworldly landscapes that feel straight out of a fantasy novel. These are the raw, untouched places that make Iceland one of the top destinations in the world for adventure riding.
Connect with fellow riders, share stories around mountain hut dinners, and create lifelong memories under the midnight sun. Whether you're a seasoned off-roader or a confident dual-sport rider ready to level up, this adventure is designed to challenge and inspire.

What You Need to Know
- Icelandic weather is extreme and unpredictable. Expect rain, sun, wind, and temperatures between 5–15°C or even below freezing in the highlands. You’ll need gear for every condition.
- Routes may change due to weather, river levels, or road closures. We’ll adapt in real-time to keep you safe and ensure the best possible experience.
- This is not a race. We ride at a moderate, group-friendly pace with regular stops for photos, snacks, and sightseeing. It’s about the journey, not the speed.
- Expect a team spirit atmosphere. In remote areas, we’ll be cooking, cleaning, and supporting each other as a group. There are no restaurants or shops-just us and the wild.
- Travel insurance is mandatory, covering off-road motorcycle travel. Check your bank or home policies as many already include this.
- A valid motorcycle license and insurance recognised in Iceland are required to ride. Roadside recovery cover is also good to have.
This is a true wilderness ride-raw, rugged, and rewarding. Be prepared, stay flexible, and bring your sense of adventure.
